Pasaka Rievan Smith successfully advised a leading joint venture logistics company, established by a renowned international logistics company and a leading local logistics company, in relation to the transportation of a large-scale power transformer for PLN as part of one of Indonesia's National Strategic Projects (PSN), supporting the development of critical energy infrastructure in East Java.

Our team advised the client in safeguarding its interests throughout a highly complex, multi-stakeholder project involving a toll road concession holder, Indonesia's largest state-owned railway operator, the country's leading state-owned electricity company, the owner of the transformer equipment, and a Japanese multinational conglomerate.

We assisted the client in navigating complex negotiations and resolving issues arising from significant delays in the delivery process. Following extensive negotiations among the relevant stakeholders, the parties successfully reached a resolution, enabling the continuation of the project after the transformer had been stored at the port for approximately six months.

The team was led by our Partner, Ishak Ricardo Pasaka, with the assistance of our Associate, Onma Ezra Rodi Aprilo Siagian.
